London Calling; and It Says – “Happy New Year From Old London Town”

Happy New Year Everyone – lets hope that 2013 is a good year for animals worldwide.

Thanks for visiting the site and I hope that we will see you again this year – 2013.

As ever, we will be attempting to cover many global animal welfare issues and trust that you will give us your help and support by mailing, signing petitions etc as necessary.

So sit back and enjoy the impressive fireworks display from “old London town” as broadcast live by the BBC at midnight. With the very successful Olympics / Paralympics this summer, the UK is on a high. We will do our best to carry this forward in our work for better animal welfare across the world.

For those of you who are not familiar with London – the large circular object which makes up the main display area is the ‘London Eye’ – a rotating wheel which is fitted with observation gondolas for visitors to the city to use for some spectacular views of the city and the river Thames. – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Eye
