Sixteen lions have been killed by poachers who hacked the faces and paws off eight of the adults to sell their teeth and claws to be used to turn into black magic potions.
Gert said: ‘They had hacked off 32 paws for the claws and eight of their snouts for their teeth after killing them with poisoned chicken which is a really agonising death for the lions.

“Wild animals are also Refugees from terrorism”
The bloody war in the forest and fields every year kills over 5 million animals – often in the cruellest way:
-1,117,511 deer,
-854.324 wild pigeons,
-608,466 foxes,
-526,003 wild ducks,
-512,050 wild boar,
-470,459 rabbits and wild rabbits, deer, badgers, wild geese, swans, raccoons …
Every year
-ca. 300,000 domestic cats,
-ca. 35,000 dogs
as well as ponies and cows in the pasture, ornamental ducks, mini-pigs, llamas on a sanctuary, victims of hunters.
In 2004 alone in Germany over 40 people were killed by hunters and hunters weapons
Every year over 800 people are injured by hunters and hunting weapons, sometimes so severely that they have to be in a wheelchair or have their legs amputated
The traps that are set for animals – illegal – often give the animals an hour-long agony.
The shot loads of rabbits hurt the animals and make them cry like little children.
“Deformation bullets” are used with the purpose of tearing deers off the innards so that they leave traces for the “search” during the escape.
Half of the animals are usually not immediately dead and injured animals still suffer for hours or even days in agony.
The hunters’ claim that these cruel massacres are necessary to regulate animal populations is an outrageous lie and propaganda that has long been scientifically and practically refuted.
I quote sections from the magazine “Freedom for Animals” [2, 2007, p. 12 f.]…” The confession of an ex-hunter”:
»Ladies and Gentlemen, fortunately we do not live in China and neither do we have Putin’s“ flawless democrat ”. We have freedom of expression.
And my opinion is: Hunters are terrorists, killers and liars!
Terrorists because they spread fear and terror. Murderers because they kill out of sheer lust for murder. And liars because they pretend to be countless lies for their behavior.
I have decided to write in your magazine a letter that you can publish wherever you want (…). After 12 years I finally had the courage to quit the hunters (…)
The claim that hunters are environmentalists or ecologists is ridiculous, as is the claim that hunters spend many voluntary hours in the hunting district for the benefit of wildlife, animals and the environment.
Everything the hunter does in the hunting district is directly or indirectly connected to the hunt, i.e. the shooting of the animals or the social gathering (…)
The so-called environmental protection work largely consists of building or maintaining the hunting objects … The various cleaning campaigns … are … pure hunter propaganda.
The hunters with their high seats, vehicles and their presence are the greatest natural pests …! (…)
Even more ridiculous is the claim that hunting is primarily about caring for game and that shooting is just one of their activities.
The aim of the hunt is execution or killing, possibly the most beautiful animals as a personal trophy – and nothing else.”
And then this ex-hunter reports on perhaps the most outrageous of all hunter lies: that the hunt is primarily a Samaritan service on sick and injured animals:
“Ladies and gentlemen,
everyone can understand for themselves what is to be said of this frivolous lie by imagining what it would be like if the emergency services were organized for people like this alleged Samaritan service on animals!
Imagine: You are injured and call for rescue, but instead of an ambulance with a doctor, a tank comes with a firing squad!
This is what the hunter’s Samaritan field service looks like on animals”!
The ex-hunter concludes: “The hunting world is much worse than you can imagine.”

Already yesterday, January 2, the police officially announced that the cause of the fire for the death of the 30 monkeys in the zoo in Krefeld / Germany has been clarified.
A 60-year-old woman with her two daughters is said to have let five sky lanterns rise, and one of them started the fire.
To the allegedly three “guilty” women, the police chief said, “I find it very courageous to report to the police and say,” Yes, I think we are responsible, the women are very courageous and decent, quite ordinary people, “ said the police chief.
Believe? Why is it not certain that they are to blame?
And since when do “decent” people want to order banned lanterns on the Internet?
And if so … Nobody would expect an honest admission or remorse from someone who has no inhibitions about shooting forbidden and dangerous lanterns into the sky, and especially as a woman.
This makes the credibility of the Krefeld investigation very suspicious.
In addition, the Commissioner’s ridiculous cosmetic titles for the “guilty” women are more than perpetrator-friendly to term, and are therefore also suspected.
And now to the Krefeld Zoo debate.
1. The monkey house has not had a sprinkler or fire alarm system since it was built, and after 45 years had the director Dresser no idea of getting one.
2. There were also no emergency personnel specifically for such a dangerous night. After the education we did in all media about the danger of pets due to fireworks, even pet owners have actively and effectively protected their animals.
3. Jail Director Dressen said at the press conference: “We are sticking to the breeding program”.
A donation account has been set up, several thousand euros hve already received at the zoo.
They will most likely be used to rebuild the burned prison and buy the next prisoner.
And now to the legalized daily tragedies, the zoos prisons:
Tigers, bears, elephants and great apes can be bought in various animal markets starting at $ 500.
They provide zoo directors and the circus mafia with small baby animals and are basically supported by a brainless society that takes their children to zoos to admire slaves of “different” species.
And they explain to their children that these slaves would otherwise have no chance of survival except in this zoo prison.
A life of isolation, boredom and daily humiliation is the best thing for them.
Generate stupidity in the population and collect money for it; That is why zoos exist!
To inform everyone who expects a hefty punishment, even if these women can be the culprits.
In 2009, a ten-year-old boy died in Siegen (Germany) because a house had caught fire from a sky lantern. The trial of a 23-year-old man for negligent homicide and arson was later suspended against conditions. The court saw little guilt from the man who had the lampion mounted.
In November 2010, a fire broke out in the petting enclosure of the Karlsruhe (Germany) zoo, 26 animals were killed: alpacas, pygmy goats, Shetland ponies, mini donkeys and sheep. Four elephants were burned.
The causes of the fire were never finally clarified.
Conclusion: The zoo director must be dismissed, the zoo must close. For this time and for this case.
Our goal is that all zoos in the world will be closed, we will fight for it and we will continue to fight unabated.
The time of fascism must also end for the “others”.
There is a petition calling for fireworks to be banned because it is dangerous for animals.
I will not publish this petition here because a ban on fireworks would not mean that the zoo prisons become safe and happy places for the animals.
Only the abolition of the zoos can do this, but the Zoomafia always knows how to twist topics in order to continue to exist.

With Karl Lagerfeld, another large brand now dispenses with the use of furs in its products. The AM Retail Group, which operates the Lagerfeld stores, and the US parent company G-III Apparel Group will also stop using furs.
Even though the name Lagerfeld is certainly in the foreground here, the more extensive decision by AM Retail to generally become fur-free is important.
Especially since the company not only operates stores from Karl Lagerfeld Paris, but also chains such as Wilsons Leather, GH Bass & Co. and Calvin Klein Performance.
The news itself came from the animal welfare organization PETA, which said that this move reflects the views of today’s “ethical buyers”.
She added that “these fur bans are evidence that the fashion industry is changing to meet the increasing demand for luxurious, pet-friendly alternatives.”
The late Karl Lagerfeld regularly used fur in his collections.
Lagerfeld had spoken out in an interview with The New York Times in 2015 for the use of fur. Even then, his reasoning was poorly tied up rather than convincing: Lagerfeld warned that there was a whole industry behind the fur, which would then be robbed of its work.
There was also a round of Whataboustism: people wear leather and eat meat – then it is hypocritical to only fight against the brutal killing of animals for the fashion industry.
Whether those who were behind the decision probably thought of Lagerfeld’s stance?
We do not know. However, we think this new development is great!!

In recent years the number of high-end labels that reject fur has increased significantly. The top labels that have taken the path to fur-free today include Armani, Burberry, Prada, Gucci, Michael Kors and Versace.
The French group SMCP recently announced that its premium brands Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot will stop selling fur.
Both consumers and employees of fashion and retail companies are increasingly opposed to fur and focus on “vegan” alternatives.
This is also reflected in legislation – California has banned the sale and manufacture of new fur products in this state this year.
My comment: “I have no boss, except myself and my cat Choupette,” said Lagerfeld shortly before his death, last June in the business newspaper “Les Echos”.
Obviously his moral principles stretched to the love of his cat, but he ignored other fur animals and used them excessively for the senseless world of fashion.
I always asked myself: What would he say if one were to pull off the skin of his “Choupette” while she were alive?
Criticism of his love for fur left the fashion tsar completely cold. “The problem with fur…For me, as long as people eat meat and wear leather, I don’t get the message.” he told the New York Times in 2015.
And then I heard that he finally died, that was February 2019, and immediately thought: One less asshole!
“There are not too many people with an opinion I care for”, he used to say.
Oh Karl! Animal torture is not about opinions but about abolish it.
What a pity you couldn’t experience it!!
