Dear Folks,

Please assist in finding good foster home for this brother & sister
pair. Would insist the dogs remain together. They are next to my
immediate complex ie Mount Kailash. I have kept their mother with me.
When these pups were born, Amrita kept these dogs despite vehement and
vicious acts by the neighbours and her mother itself. In a few months,
an outside shed was made and the dogs are there tied down 24×7. Then
Amita chose to get married last and left the dogs in the care of her
mother and father under the same shed tied 24×7. Now the mother and
father wish to relocate to Chandigarh. They intend to release the dogs
on the street once they leave.
Imagine my helplessness. I have a month’s time & a few days here and there.

i just got a call from hilaur from lokhandwala. he has picked up a kitten around 3/4 months old from a local train yesterday night, and needs someone to adopt or foster it immediately. his father is hospitalised and coming back home, and his wife is not too happy with the kitten. the kitten also seems to have some problem as it is vomiting and has loose motions (most probably worms).

A few details about the Cat, we call him Zoey even though he is a male, because we discovered his manhood only after he was more than 9 months old. He is a pure Siberian breed. Born in Bombay. He turned 6 years old on 2nd Sept. As you can see from the photos he is gorgeous.

Zoey looks bigger than normal cats because he is so hairy, but he is actully only taller than normal cats, with big eyes.
He is very peaceful and loves to play, which consists of chasing around or he has a stuffed frog that he like to fetch…..
Does not like being handled very much, not even petted. He likes to be around us but not touching us.

He does not jump up and climb up very high, likes to stay mostly on the ground level.
Zoey is completely domesticated and does not go outdoors at all. Which is why he has NO tics or fleas etc. Infact he is terrified of going out. Whenever we have tried to take him out he gets very anxious.

Cats normally don’t bathe and groom themself but since Zoey is very hairy I bathe him 2-3 times in a year, weather permitting.

He eats packaged food only, I buy a bag of 2 kg for a month that costs around Rs 800.

Plus he uses up 10 kg of cat litter mud for his potty. He piddles or poops only in his litter box. If he piddles elsewhere that means that he is stressed and unhappy.

He likes to look out from balconies and windows. and gets very excited if he sees birds close by.

Hope you can find a home for him where he is loved and appreciated because we love him very much and are extremely heart broken about giving him away. Our only consellation will be knowing that he is happy.Regards

Hi,

On 22nd July 2009, this little stray dog littered 6 puppies right near my door. She had no where else to litter them because she knew they all would die.

I live in Vasai & I’ve been feeding this dog right from the time she entered my compound (it’s been nearly a year now). She’s frail & feeble, scared & frightened.

Last year, when she littered, our Society watchman took all her pups & threw them in a Sewage Drain (Nala). She somehow managed to rescue herself, but her pups died.

So this year, she littered just outside my house & right from day 1, I’ve been fighting all odds & ends to save these pups from the cruel hands. After 2 weeks or so, when these pups opened their eyes, they were taken away from their mother. I knew my neighbors were involved in this heinous act because they feel that by keeping these pups in the building, Swine Flu will spread to everyone. They constantly have fights with me & my dad, they ask us to put on masks, put masks for the pups & even my own dog (I have a Stray at home as well). Just because we are tenants there, we don’t want to get into any arguments.

When these pups were separated from their Mother, I was Shocked!!! I didn’t know where to go & search them. I somehow got information & found all 6 of them. I again bought them to my place. But when I went to work the next day, they were taken & brought down in the Garden. One of the pups (light cream in color) died as he was run over a car. The 2nd pup (black in color) was hit by a bike & limps while walking (he’s the youngest & the cutest).

Everyday when I come home from work, I check if all of them are fine because anytime, these Society people can do anything to them..I’m all the time worried & tensed about their safety. Even the children in our society treat these pups like Soft-Toys, they pull their ears, pull their tail and all..

Requesting people to please come forward & give these pups a home & Im sure you’ll be Blessed.
