Here is a documentary about the Horror House of Pigs on six floors, in Halle, Germany.
I’ve translated the text from the video, so everyone understands what it’s about.
The following text accompanies the video recordings made by the association “German Animal Protection Office” (Deutsches Tierschutzbüro) in the pig tower in Maasdorf / Halle since 2013:

The story and the description of video.
End of the sixties in the former German Democratic Republic (DDR) the pig high-rise was built as a prestige object.
Today it is the only high-rise building for pigs in Germany and in Europe at all. It is located on Maasdorf, in Halle.
3000 pigs are being kept under illegal and horror conditions.

In 2013, the chairman of the association “German Animal Protection Office” Jan Peifer went for the first time to the pig high-rise, in Maasdorf, and documented the hell in which 3000 pigs live.

Stern TV, who aired the video on March 14th at 10:00 pm, tried to get in touch with the managers of the pig high-rise building.
Jan Peifer, together with the journalist, tried to obtain information from the central office of the company. “There is no responsible person today” says the woman at the window!!! (Video) “We do not give any comments anyway, you do not need to bring that shit on TV, and you can turn off the camera.” Angrily she slams the window and shows the middle finger to the people, although she knows that the interview is on TV.
The skyscraper specializes in the production of pigs.
The documents show how the farm operates on 6 floors: up to 500 pigs with their piglets per floor fit and are transported by lifts.
On the second floor they are artificially inseminated.
Then they come to the fifth floor, where they are kept with other pregnant pigs. One week before the calculated birthday, they either come to the 4th or the 6th floor, to farrow !!!
In these tight boxes, they give birth to their piglets.
They suckle for the next few weeks, after which they are taken to the 1st or 3rd floor, along with others and kept in groups, until they are finally sold.
But where?
It is pointed out that the company operates another business called “Genesus Deutschland GmbH”! – This company specializes in production and distribution of pigs. On their company page, they advertise with images, such as those you see in the video on minute 7:38.
But the video recordings from the skyscraper show a different reality.
From minute 7:58 you can see how the piglets are born. You can see from 8:02 minutes what will become of the animals when they are just born: their feet are stuck in the holes, they cannot get out alone, but no co-worker is there to help. The animal rights activists were able to free some. You can see piglets that could not free themselves from the amniotic sac. Piglets who die!
The operator of HET GmbH does not want to comment on these allegations.
Inquiries to interviews remain unanswered.
In an interview in 2014, the operator assured that all regulations are met, and speaks of “control without end” !!!
From minute 9:05 we see the “control without end” !!!
From this point on, you can hear and see how employees still deal with the animals to this day.
In German it is insulting expressions that are difficult to translate.
One sees the injuries to the body of the animals, which are caused with a spatula, also an illegal method for animal driving.
The veterinarian ends her participation in the interview, with the words: “the respect for the animal is not here at all. The case belongs to the prosecutor”.

Sister City Campaign – Daegu & Milwaukee
Daegu became Sister city with Milwaukee on August 23, 2017. In Daegu, there are countless dog farms, slaughterhouses, markets and restaurants where the dogs, who are tortured their entire lives, end up being slaughtered in the most inhumane ways, such as by electrocution, hanging or beating; and then thrown into boiling water – sometimes while they are still alive.
In many places, dogs are being killed in full view of other terrified, caged dogs; and this takes place in public and in broad daylight. In addition, many abandoned and stolen former pets end up in this industry, and are subjected to the same cruelty.
Please take action to urge Milwaukee Mayor and Common Council members to help end their new Sister City’s illegal and horrendous cruelty.
Pet shop of horrors – 79 dogs found dead,
many more left to starve by a heartless pet shop owner
A heartless pet shop owner in Cheonan Dongnam-gu district is reported to have neglected a total of 160 dogs, causing the death of 79 of them because he did not want to spend any more money on them.
Many corpses were found in a significant state of decomposition, with their skulls and ribs fully exposed. The remaining 80 surviving dogs, were clearly starving and many found diseased. Astoundingly the pet shop is also reported to have been offering an adoption service to clients, promising to find new homes for these unfortunate animals!
A new exposé reveals the abusive treatment on five mink fur farms in Canada, where an eyewitness documented filthy conditions, including piles of feces and pools of waste teeming with maggots just beneath the animals’ wire cages, which were covered with cobwebs. The intensive confinement caused some animals to exhibit symptoms of “zoochosis,” or captivity-induced insanity, including pacing, circling, and gnawing on cage bars. Live minks had to live with a dead cagemate in their midst.

Spain – Woman films herself killing cat in washing machine and uploads clip online
A woman who filmed herself killing a cat in her washing machine and uploaded the footage to social media in a horrific act of cruelty could face jail.
The video, taken by an unnamed Spanish woman from Jaen, in Andalusia, was shared on Instagram

SIGN: Justice for Dog Who Died after being Forced to Fly in Overhead Bin
When a family boarded a United Airlines plane Monday with their beloved French bulldog, Kokito, they had no idea the flight would end in heartbreak.
A flight attendant insisted that the dog’s carrier be moved into the overhead bin at takeoff — even though the crate was TSA-approved, and the family had followed all airline rules. When the plane landed, Kokito was dead. And now, the family is in mourning over a tragedy that never should have happened.

Mass grave found with galgos in Spain.

A horrible sight came last Saturday to the discoverers of 30 hunting dog carcasses – partially preserved, decayed or skeletonized – who were
in a hidden ditch in Taracón (Cuenca). The dogs are all hunting dogs, mostly galgos. The Seprona has confirmed after initial investigations that due to the state of decay, some of the carcasses have been in this mass grave for a long time, others only recently. Furthermore, the officials assume that some of the animals were certainly thrown alive into the pit, so that they suffer a slow and agonizing death, from the ditch there is no escape!
Many of the Galgos are chipped, they are confident that they can detect the animal tormentors.
The Civil Guard is looking for those responsible for this mass grave with 30 corpses of dogs.
Carolina Rey, the councilor and spokeswoman for the IU (Izqerda Unidad= left United), denounced the facts: “Some of the dogs were thrown alive to the pit, which is in an almost inaccessible place from which you cannot get out, so we think they were thrown out and have died of hunger and thirst. “
The identification of the owners of the animals will be easy since the dogs had a chip.
In addition, Carolina Rey has been able to recognize some animals as their owners went to the protector to deliver the dogs since they could not take charge, although it refused its reception due to lack of space.

A clear indication that their owners, frightened by the repercussion of the news, have returned to remove the corpses of their dogs. This is interesting because the hunting society always claims that abandoned or killed dogs, are dogs that have been stolen, “as no galguero would treat their dog like that”.
But no thief would return for the bodies of the dead dogs, that makes no sense. All points to the galgueros.
How little is worth the life of hunting dogs in the Autonomous Region of Castilla-La Mancha, the news published on 13 February proves that the Government of Autonomy excludes hunting dogs from the Animal Welfare Act.
Every Spanish autonomy has its own animal welfare laws. Other regions might also come up with the idea of excluding hounds from animal welfare, just as bullfighting as a tradition of animal welfare is also excluded at EU level. 40 percent of dogs that are abused, abandoned or stolen in Spain are hunting dogs.
Hunting is a dirty business that, with European help, is moving millions of euros every year.

Overdebt for food, medicine and kennels!
From the beginning of this year stray dogs in Bor are facing one of the hardest periods; Cruelly low temperatures of minus 20 degrees and lower, hungry, frozen, helpless and left to fend for themselves on the streets of the town where unfortunately most of the residents absolutely do not care about them … among that crowd of people who is considering stray dogs as the ‘ugly’ part of the city which they should get rid of, there are people like Joja.
Many people know the story about this man of enormous heart, his daily sacrifice and unselfish willpower to help every single injured stray at every moment. During this Siberian winter many dog houses for strays were taken, many of which have not yet been paid, large amounts of food from pet shop that was not paid, stray puppies have been vaccinated, which was left unpaid, a couple of stray females have been spayed, etc.. so much debts as usual, and it is necessary as soon as possible to settle them, so that we can continue our work ..
This fundraiser below caters for the shortfall for kennel, food fees and vet services, which we are not able to cover..

We immediately wrote to DG Sante at the EU Commission; Animal Transport Guidelines Project and the Eurogroup for animals;
We said in our post of 20/2 – We will publish their responses if we get one.
We asked a simple question – that being
– why then if everything is so good, are we witnessing so many EU animals suffering in transport on the journey to Turkey ?
Under Regulation 1/2005, the EU regulation allegedly ‘protecting’ animals during transport; all livestock drives have to pass a competence test and be ‘certified’ to ensure the ‘welfare’ of animals they transport in their vehicles. Seems they have gone off track when it comes to care for EU animals being transported to Turkey, as the video shows. So then the EU should be prosecuting those who do not comply – yes ? – not making new cartoons about drivers taking care !
So we have given our requests a few weeks; and true to form, nobody has bothered to come back to us and express their reasons and support for the new video put out by the Animal Transport Guides Project.
And so now we are waiting on our UK MEP’s to see if they can obtain any response from the authorities as to why around 70% of livestock vehicles inspected at the Bulgarian / Turkish border were seen to be non compliant with the Regulation 1/2005 which the EU thinks will ‘protect’ animals during transport.
So, why has nobody responded to us ? – maybe they are finding it really difficult to answer the question of a 70% failure rate when their EU certified drivers should know all the rules and be fully compliant with Reg 1/2005. Remember, as part of 1/2005, all livestock drivers are supposed to be fully certified so that they know the law about transporting live animals.
This lack of responses by ALL parties just goes to show that as we have said before, the EU wants it all to look good on paper and in videos, like this new one intended for ‘competent drivers’ who should already know the law. The sad fact for the animals involved is that all the time, the EU and its associates such as the ATGP and the Eurogroup, simply turn in the other direction when pushed hard with real questions relating to real experiences and encounters at borders. Such is the real reality of EU live animal transport.
All the time the EU turns its head away from the reality and fails to prosecute hard for offences; the sad reality is that things will not change, no matter how the EU wishes to ‘dress it all up’ to look good with new videos and guidelines.
As always, the EU has, does, and will continue to fail live animals in transport.
And with no responses from anyone; is it any wonder that people say the animal Mafia is at work within the EU to ensure the trade continues despite the irregularities and non compliances with the regulations.

Dog starving from broken jaw makes an incredible recovery!
She would never have eaten again without surgery after a vehicle hit her and broke several of her teeth and fractured her lower jaw. Locals from the village saw her laying in the same place for more than a day and realised something was wrong. Our rescuers found her curled up in a ball, disoriented and unable to stand. She probably hadn’t eaten or had water in many days. We brought the sad little girl back to Animal Aid where we treated her for dehydration and pain. We then placed a wire in her jaw to heal the fracture. And so began the new adventure of Dory’s life to come. Watch the transformation of a dying dog into a playful angel.
Watch Olivia’s amazing transformation! This sweetheart was suffering from a painful and life-threatening condition and needed urgent help. Her head was massively swollen and pus and blood drained from her eye almost continuously. A cytology revealed it to be malignant cancer-a transmissible venereal tumour in the mucous membranes surrounding her eye that was so extensive it had begun to damage her skull as well. Luckily this kind of tumour can be cured with chemotherapy treatment and we immediately began a six-week course. She was quite the fighter and responded amazingly to her treatment. Meet beautiful Olivia today–our street dog cancer survivor.
Although Jupiter, a street dog, was hiding underneath the stairs of a house of strangers, his trusting response to his rescuers made us wonder if on some level he was just waiting for help. His sorrowful eyes told us everything we needed to know about his pain. We hurried him back to the hospital and onto the treatment table where we discovered that the wound on his neck–probably a dog bite infested with maggots–was actually even bigger than we had suspected. Debriding the wound, flushing, removing maggots and wrapping it snuggly with padded bandages would be the first of many days of treatment. But Jupiter seemed to know he was on the path of healing from the first touch by the rescue team. Meet Jupiter after six weeks of wound care. He’s definitely a new boy–and an angel through and through.
