Dear Mark,

Our teams have just successfully completed another inspiring rescue. Female bears Cuc and Nhai have been transferred to our BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh to start their new lives, in freedom.

Whilst the rescue of Cuc and Nhai was planned thanks to your support, our team had an unexpected surprise which resulted in the additional rescue of baby cub Mochi who is receiving around the clock veterinary care.

That’s why we urgently need your support. Only with your help we can continue our efforts to ensure all three bears settle  at BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh and remain healthy and protected. Every penny counts!

Chuc and Nhai had only known cages before they were rescued. But now they are safe and are constantly receiving veterinary care, a species-appropriate diet as well as an extensive enrichment programme from our rescue teams who are doing everything they can to ensure the bears settle in the new lives outside of the bars.

Baby Mochi is a female Asiatic black bear cub who weighed just 2KG when we rescued her. Baby Mochi is a victim of the illegal wildlife trade and her presence came as an absolute surprise and our team acted fast Fortunately, baby Mochi is safe and is doing well in our BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh where she is receiving comprehensive veterinary care, special puppy milk and lots of enrichment. Whilst helping all three bears settle in our teams are still observing all the relevant safety precautions related to COVID-19.

On behalf of the bears and other rescued animals in our care, thank you.

A deer’s agony documented on a cell phone!

A deer died because a farmer left tapes of straw bales in the field.

The pictures that Gernot Kunzemann has saved in his cell phone are difficult to look at. They show a deer struggling for its life.

To anticipate the end: A hunter had to be called who ended the animal’s agony with a targeted shot (!!!)

Farmer is said to have simply left straw bands

The deer had caught on a trail in a mess of old tapes. They are said to have held round bales of straw together.

The more he tried to get his antlers free, the more tangled he got.
That already happened on Easter Sunday, and Gernot Kunzemann approached it by accident.

“Then only the hunter could help” (!!!), he said.

Kunzemann then reported to the community representatives about this tragic story.

He was annoyed (!!!) about the negligence of the farmer, who simply left the tape in nature, which ultimately led to the death of the deer, says Kunzemann.

Kunzemann said that he prefers talking to each other rather than arguing, and prefers to shake hands with the farmers, mainly because farmers are one of the biggest donors and helpers in the community, and if you have a dispute with them, you can this source quickly dry up.

https://www.nordkurier.de/neubrandenburg/hirsch-verliert-bei-neubrandenburg-todeskampf-mit-einem-band-3039534305.htm

And I mean…Kunzemann finds a deer in death fight, takes out his cell phone, and documents the case.

What a useless, cowardly human specimen !!

And that was all that Kunzemann knew how to help while the deer was fighting for his life !!

If he had seen that a small child is in danger, would he have taken out his miracle machine and taken pictures to show that these photos are “difficult to look at”?

Who would he have helped with this?

We have learned something again! that the farmers throw their garbage everywhere and they care a shit for animal safety!

We didn’t need the pictures of Kunzemann for that, we already knew it, only Kunzemann is annoyed.

What we have also learned is that this society is a society of the fig voyeurs, a society whose humanity and willingness to help only extends to digital cell phone recordings.

My best regards to all, Venus

We live from the death of others

Farm animals spend their whole lives in cold, dark, crowded, dirty concrete stands before a knife ends their miserable life.

A daily business that lives on 7 billion carnivores
The meat-eaters are primarily responsible for these crimes, they pay for the dirty work, they give the butcher the knife …

If you don’t close your eyes, ears, brain, and heart to how horribly people treat animals, you MUST love animals more than people who bully, torture, and kill these innocent animals!

My best regards to all, Venus

USA: the case “Lattin”

PETA has obtained new records revealing that serial bird killer Christine Lattin, now at Louisiana State University (LSU), has embarked on another installment of her continuing effort to rid the world of joy with a new round of pointless experiments that involve killing and dismembering birds.

This time, it appears that they may violate local bird protection laws.

Lattin has tormented and killed birds in bizarre experiments since 2008. The mountain of bird carcasses left after past experiments have led to such banal “discoveries” as “birds do not like captivity” and “birds think crude oil tastes icky.”

That her sadistic experiments have not contributed to the promotion of science, however, is apparently no matter to the Louisiana Board of Regents, which awarded her more than $117,000 to torment and kill 184 wild-caught sparrows over a three-year span that began in June 2019.

This is what passes for science, and it’s unfortunately in line with Lattin’s previous cruelty, which included feeding birds crude oil, wounding their legs, plucking large amounts of their feathers, and causing them stress and fear by confining them to cloth bags and giving them drugs that damage their adrenal glands.

Lattin must not continue her reign of terror on wild birds. Killing these sensitive, trusting beings who have chosen to live in such close proximity to humans is unjust and wrong.

Please, take action below and urge LSU to end her cruelty.

And I mean: in some ways, Lattin’s story is nothing new. PETA and other animal rights groups have hounded researchers for decades in hopes of shutting down animal experiments in the United States and elsewhere.

Oversight systems in laboratories favor experimenters and often fail the animals they are supposed to protect. Birds are excluded from the only law that offers any protection for animals in laboratories.

No experiment is illegal.

That’s why Lattin has gotten away with killing at least 250 birds, as well as chemically damaging birds’ adrenal glands, wounding their legs using a biopsy punch (with no painkillers), rattling their cages every two minutes, restraining them in a cloth bag and feeding them crude oil. And she’s looking for more victims.

These experiments cause massive suffering and aren’t applicable to conservation, human health, or other birds. This is a crime funded by taxpayer money.

For its part, PETA says it has no intention of ending its campaign. “We’ll stop the moment Yale says ‘No more,’ and not 1 minute before that.  We looked at Lattin because her experiments are so horrible,” says Kathy Guillermo, a senior vice president at the organization in charge of the Lattin campaign.

“If she was a 60-year-old male with tenure, we’d been doing the exact same thing.”

But Lattin is equally defiant. “I am not going to stop,” she says. “PETA is not going to win.”

Of course! This is the language of all psychopaths who have no regrets and no moral concerns about their actions.

My best regards to all, Venus

Ismael Fernández broke down in tears while reuniting with his beloved donkey, Baldomera, after spending over two months apart because of a mandatory coronavirus quarantine.

During the lockdown, Fernández’s brother cared for Baldomera, and the two siblings kept in touch through video chats. Even so, Fernández, who lives about 20 miles away from the mountain that Baldomera calls home, still worried that the donkey would not remember him when they finally met again.

Baldomera quickly soothed his friend’s fears, running up to Fernández to greet him with love and affection.

“Hello!,” Fernández excitedly said, greeting his animal companion in Spanish. “What’s up? Where is my little donkey?”

“I am not embarrassed for you to hear me cry,” he continued, “because here is one of the best demonstrations of unconditional love that exists.”

As life slowly returns to normal in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, heartwarming moments like this one remind us of the virus’s impact on all friendships and the joy of reuniting with those we miss so dearly.

New Investigation Reveals Just How Dangerous High-Speed Slaughter Is for Both Humans and Animals

Posted by Katie Valentine | May 29, 2020

Non-profit animal rights organization Mercy For Animals has released a shocking video detailing the horrifying processes used in high-speed poultry slaughterhouses. Innocent animals are subjected to agonizing torture and workers are put in danger due to the pace at which they’re required to work.

An undercover investigator captured the sobering hidden-camera footage at a Maryland poultry factory, where fully-conscious birds are shackled and hung upside-down, immersed in electrified water, and slit across the throat. At one point during the investigation, a facility-wide power outage forced helpless birds to spend over an hour dangling from their feet as they waited to die.

Under recently revised USDA standards, slaughter lines can move at hazardous pace, killing up to 175 chickens per minute. This forces employees to work at an unreasonable rate, jeopardizing their safety and increasing their risk of injury.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has drawn much-needed attention to the inevitable hazards of slaughterhouse and factory farm environments, where workers are required to stand shoulder-to-shoulder and frequently come into contact with live animals, giving dangerous zoonotic viruses potential opportunities to “make the jump” to human hosts.

This investigation makes it clear: high-speed slaughter has to go.
