experience ) were tortured and killed in the arena of Alès (city in the
South of France) on May 11 and 12, 2013 –
Meanwhile, 5000 anti-corrida activists held a demo at the outskirts of the
city; they couldn’t approach the arena nor go into the centre of Alès,
because more than 600 CRS’s (the

Police ) blocked the roads.
The Mayor of Alès is called Max Roustan.: he gave no authorization for the
demo – this prohibition was approved by the French Minister of Interior
Affairs.
