Regarding our post of 22/4/15 https://serbiananimalsvoice.com/2015/04/22/england-22415-update-on-the-serbian-animal-situation-with-the-eu-enlargement-commission/ and the new proposals for stray animal killings by the Serbian government; we can now inform that at the moment there is still not anything new to report.
However, we understand from Slavica that there will be a consultative meeting with the government (maybe animal welfare groups ?) on 11/5/15 regarding the draft proposals they have put forward for the new law regarding stray animals welfare. Slavica informs us that she already has very big fears for what the government may try and do – and we would agree with this.
Slavica may attend Belgrade on the 11th May.
Only after this date will we have further info on how things are progressing.
