As many of you will know, stopping live animal transport / exports has been a desire of mine for a long time. See more about the work of Mark by clicking on the ‘About Us’ tab at the top of the page. The live animal transport business is a disgusting trade; and I, along with the vast majority of folk in the UK want to see an end to the business now. General Election day – 7/5/15 here in the UK will give people an opportunity to let their voices be heard against a government that has ignored them for the past 5 years.

As someone who has been involved with live animal exports out of Kent ports for some 25 years or so; this video gives a very good insight into the issue of animal transport at Ramsgate – for those of you non UK folk; this is a port within Kent county on the very South Eastern edge of England.
In this video are very many well known personal friends – Ellie S from the RSPCA; Reg Bell and Ian Driver, who you see at the start and end of the film. I first met Ian when I was invited down to Ramsgate at the start of exports in order to give a talk (along with a few others from the RSPCA and CIWF – CEO Phil https://serbiananimalsvoice.com/2015/03/24/england-farmageddon-and-more-an-expose-into-the-real-world-of-intensive-global-animal-farming/ ) about live transport. Ian Driver is a great guy and will be standing to represent the Green Party as the MP to be at the UK General Election on 7th May 2015. I think that the video justifies the feeling in the UK as to why the trade should be stopped. We have covered the issue of ports and the 1847 Act before on this site; and it is mentioned several times in the video; along with the 8 hour campaign which we have covered.
