Can you pl help with these cats. Their ‘father’ is an expat who has to leave the country and just cannot take them with him. He leaves 5th June – a formidably short notice I know – but pl see what you can do . I really do not have much contact with good cat people.

There is also a dog to be re homed from the same family but I won’t bother you with him just now since we have a lead which just might work out.

Please see picture of cats attached. They are a little bigger than photo now, but just as cute.

Ginger (as in the color)

Ginger is a sterilized male. He’s friendly, outgoing & likes to be around people. He will often come to you for a scratch & play. He likes to walk around the house meowing in the morning, then finds a quite place to sleep & hide for most of the day.

Ginger sometimes picks on his sister & creates a small spat.

Scratchy (black & white, & as in the cartoon on “The Simpsons” Itchy & Scratchy)

Scratchy is a sterilized female. She is quite a shy cat. She likes to be near you, but doesn’t like a lot of scratching & playing. She will though sit on my wife’s lap in quite moments. She spends most of her time sitting curled up in the kitchen to be near my wife.

She’s a good mouser.

She doesn’t like her tummy being scratched, & will instantly push your hand away with her legs.

Other traits

–          They are both adept at catching mice, & occasionally small birds

–          They like to spend some time outdoors, but are just as happy to be inside. We usually leave them in the backroom of our house, & they will go in & out of a window we deliberately leave open

Food

–          They have leftover chicken, beef, rice, occasional vegetables….

–          My wife often buys fresh fish & will mix it with rice as well. They love fish

hi Charu,

I have “rescued” four female pups (4 weeks old now) and am looking for
“good”(ones who don’t discriminate against desis and are financially
and emotionally capable of giving them good care) homes for them.
I have as my pets their brothers Chotu and Motu (about 8 months  old)
who are both large dogs.

Their ad hoc names are Moti(the fat one), Kali, Safedu(the white one),
and i haven’t named the fourth.

They are breast feeding and also on puppy cerelac plus gradually
introducing them to large breed premium puppy food (which we also feed
the mother). Both their parents are large dogs.

We live in NOIDA.

Dear all,

2 PUPS NEED URGENT HOMES IN MUMBAI. SEE THEIR PICS BELOW. Aarti is being harrased by her building people to throw out these dogs and she needs to find urgent homes for them.

They are street dogs and she has temporarily kept them in her house.

Their brothers and sisters have been killed by cars and we have to find homes for them asap.

MUMBAI

Hi friends,

these girls, will not be killed or poisoned if they dont find a home. they will just become regular STRAYS.

Honey, tikki, milie n chintu are mixed breed pups (their mom lucy is a stray n pom mixed), 3 months of age.

They are being taken care off by construction workers, who took care of their mom lucy. now, they have shooed lucy away (they say she turned mad) and are taking care of the pups.  The pups are treated very well, given milk and biscuits 3/4 times a day.

I take pedigree every weekend.  So they are growing up very well, u can see from the pics.

Milie n chintu are the mischevious of the lot. tikki is relative quiet.. honey like to play, but then goes back to sleep. they are an adorable bunch of cutiepies and make very good friends for ur kids.they are extremely adorable and cute to play with.
