Spain: Bullfight / Fiesta News Update

International protest against bull festival ‘Toro de la Vega’

On 14 September 2010, another edition of a festival called ‘El Toro de la Vega’ will take place in the Spanish city of Tordesillas (Valladolid, Castilla y León). During this festival, a bull is stabbed to death with lances by hundreds of men on horse and on foot. This year, a bull called Platanito (‘little banana’) will be killed before its fifth birthday.

For the sixth time in a row, animal protection organizations PACMA and CAS International, with support of AnimaNaturalis organize a striking protest against this event on Sunday 12 September, in Tordesillas and Valladolid.

Guggenheim platform against bullfighting

On Saturday 21 August 2010, CAS International and Spanish anti-bullfighting organizations AnimaNaturalis and Equanimal organized a striking protest against bullfighting, right in front of the Guggenheim Museum entrance in Bilbao (Spain).

About 125 activists, among which people from Madrid and Barcelona, were lying in front of the museum and formed the shape of a bull with their bodies. The activists were painted in black and red: black representing the colour of the bull and red symbolizing the blood that is spilled during bullfights.

French politicians introduce bill against bullfighting

On July 13, 2010, politicians Muriel Marland-Militello (UMP) and Geneviève Gaillard (Socialists) introduced a bill in the Assemblée Nationale (‘Parliament’) proposing a ban on bullfighting in France.

Mrs. Marland-Militello already introduced a similar bill in 2004, but now she is officially supported by a colleague representing the Socialists. This is good news, since more Socialists are now going to vote for the abolition of bullfighting. 58 of the 577 representatives already officially support the bill.

CAS International (Comité Anti Stierenvechten) is the biggest organization in the world which works exclusively on the abolition of bullfighting and cruel fiestas (festivals) during which bulls and other animals are tortured. Together with our colleague organizations, we want to end this animal abuse as soon as possible.

Germany: Very Sad News – ‘Seppl’ Has Passed Away. RIP Seppl.

The message shown below arrived from Diana (in Germany) yesterday – 01.09/10.

It sadly informs about the death of a horse named “Seppl”.

Seppl has been ill for a while now and Diana has been keeping me informed of his condition and situation for many weeks.  Seppl had a kidney ilness which was incureable; and for all involved in his daily care and attention, it was just a matter of time and for doing the very best for him until his passing over the rainbow bridge.

During his final weeks, Seppl was given almost anything he desired.  All the food he could eat and a wide range of special treats.  But most importantly, he was given love and attention from several people who were not his direct ownner.  She deserted Seppl to go elsewhere years ago.  Seppl had many other horse friends at the stables; he was never alone.

Seppl died peacefully in his pasture area overnight.

He will be greatly missed by all the immediate team who cared and loved him on a daily basis at the stables.  And so as Diana says, I also ask you to light a candle in memory of Seppl today please.

Now gone but always a wonderful memory.

Thanks – Mark.

From Diana:

Dear all,

it is a sad day today – as most days where animals die.

Still I would ask you to light a candle for “Seppl” today – a horse I’ve gotten to know at the last stable I was at with my “Henry”.

Seppl has died last night, very likely, of kidney failure. He had been ill for a good two months now, and while all was done to help him, it became clear that his time was limited, and so he was made as comfortable as possible for the weeks/months that remained to him and those who cared for him.

Seppl lay peacefully in the pasture this morning, having passed away some time last night. We all hope that he did not suffer.

Seppl, a Haflinger gelding, was 20, very sweet and a bit of a rascal almost to the end.

Sadly, the person he loved most left him to live somewhere else a few years ago, and hence he was given into the care of Yvonne and Arek, who did their utmost to make him feel welcome and loved. It was them who were with him to the end.

Rest in peace, Seppl.

Diana

Dear Seppl,

you will stay in my heart for ever.

I love you so much and I say thank you for the wonderful years we´ve passed together. You made me so happy and I enjoyed all the time with you.

Now there is an angelpony more in heaven.

Rest in peace my lovely friend.
Yours Yvonne

Uk / Bosnia and Herzegovina: SAV Attempts to Help Uk Newspaper Find Sadistic, Young (Bosnian ?) Puppy Killer Captured on Video.

31/08/10

Today SAV have been trying to help a Uk national newspaper identify a young girl who has been shown on video throwing live young puppies into a river – and certain death.

From the information obtained by the newspaper; ‘The Sun’; it is thought that the video was taken in Bosnia and Herzegovina, although this cannot be absolutely verified.  Further attempts to check this are currently under way.

SAV have posted the video to all contacts in the Balkans with the help of Slavica.

We have also provided the newspaper with much data and many photographs about the terrible situation for stray animals in Serbia and other Balkans states, with the hope that they may do a follow up article.

First and foremost, we need to find out who this girl is; a person who seems to get a sadistic sick pleasure by throwing young animals to their deaths in a fast flowing river.

If any of you can help by distributing the video via this SAV post link then it would be very appreciated.  Any names and details can be left on the ‘Responses’ section at the end of this post.

The video can be seen by clicking on the following link and then scrolling down.

WARNING – contains animal cruelty.

Macedonia: March for the Pound Vardariste Dogs Organised by “Anima Mundi” – Please Give Your Support by Taking Action – Contact Details Below

We, animal protection association from Macedonia, “Anima Mundi” address You again as the horror in Skopje continues and the mass catching and killing of stray dogs is relentless as ever in the only shelter which exists in Macedonia (the Pound Vardariste),

which has undertaken to operate under a program which prescribes a CNR strategy.
We enclose photographs and video materials of the protest we organized last munth against the killing of stray dogs “Walk for Life” (route: Assembly of the City of Skopje-Government of RM-Parliament of RM). Although the protest was supported by all Macedonian association for protection of animals, as well as the citizens and the media, all of which together EXPRESSED THEIR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE INHUMANITY, THE BRUTAL APPROACH TO DEALING WITH THE PROBLEM I.E. THE MASS KILLING, THERE HAVE BEEN NO IMPROVEMENTS.

WE ENCLOSE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE MARCH, AS WELL AS NEWSPAPER ARTICLES, WHICH WILL GIVE YOU A BETTER INSIGHT IN THE SITUATION WE REACT AGAINST (we also have information that alive or semi-conscious dogs are discarded in waste pits).

We remind

1. Although all Macedonian associations have been continually reacting (the official rate of killing is over 60% -unofficially much higher, as huge numbers of caught dogs disappear) nothing has been done so far;

2. There is no record kept of killed dogs and, more importantly, we do not know what they are killed with-the City and the competent institutions hide information and have never responded to our request to present the documents for supply of substances for humane euthanasia (a request they are obliged to respond to by law);

3. There is practically no disinfection-
We need Your help and more stern reactions to

the Mayor: gradonacalnik@skopje.gov.mk ,

the Veterinary Directorate: druntevski@veterina.gov.mk and

the Public Enterprise “Komunalna Higiena”: khs@khigiena.com.mk ,

which is responsible for implementation of the strategy, as well as reactions to all world and international institutions to put a stop to this shame. AS OUR COUNTRY ASPIRES FOR MEMBERSHIP IN EU, OUR GOVERNMENT WOULD BE WILLING TO PUT A STOP TO THIS ONLY UNDER STRONG AND PUBLIC REACTIONS FROM INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, AS WE ARE IN REALITY POWERLESS AND THEY ARE ONLY TRYING TO SHUT US UP.

2. Other wery importent thing. We point out that we have support from most of the media, as the situation is obvious, as well as from other Mayors willing to allow implementation of the humane strategy CNR in their municipalities, but financially unable to do so. Please inform us whether any assistance can be offered to us regarding the matter i.e. how can we establish a cooperation with You as supporters of the CNR strategy, what are the preconditions which we need to observe in order to receive Your assistance (in terms of expertise, medical assistance for spaying/neutering, finances, etc.), so we can eventually start with the implementation of a humane solution to the problem.

Your sincerely,

Animal potection activists from the organization “Anima Mundi”

President,

Stole Velkoski

SAV Comment:

Our animal friends at “Anima Mundi” have kindly sent us loads of photographs of their excerllent demonstration for the Pound Vardariste (Skopje) dogs.  We congratulate them on such an effective demonstration which obviously has the support of the vast majority of citizens as well as that of many Mayors willing to allow implementation of the humane strategy CNR in their municipalities.

What a terrible pity that the Skopje mayor does not understand the damage he alone is causing to his nation and their ability to become members of the EU.  The following photograph is that of the mayor:

Please send your individual message of protest to the mayor and the other authorities using the e mail addresses provided above.

Below are the rest of the demonstration photographs provided by  “Anima Mundi“.  Please take heart from the efforts and work of our animal friends in Macedonia and give them your support by sending a letter of complaint to the mayor and authorities as detailed.

If you are an EU citizen; please go one step further and provide the details to your MEP, asking that the EU take very serious account of the abuse and suffering inflicted on animals in macedonia as a direct result of the wishes of the Mayor of Skopje.  His actions alone are not acceptable and until he changes his attitude and ways to the welfare of animals in macedonia, you will continue to fight to keep such animal abusers as the mayor out of EU membership.

Mr. Mayor – you have BIG blood on your hands;

Free poster to print and display:

SKOPJE POSTER A4 Size

a target of dog catchers are puppies which cannot be subject to the CRN program (under which the Pound Vardariste officially operates) and almost all puppies are killed or die of distemper and parvovirosis, without any attempt being made for their treatment;

4. The dog catchers are people with criminal history, barbarian and ruthless in their behavior, incompetent to appropriately catch and take care of the animals under any circumstances, which is supported by the reactions of many citizens who have witnessed their operation and many of whom have initiated private charges against the dog catchers;

 5. Volunteers are still not allowed in the Pound, despite the continuous offer of support on our part;

6.  The Pound is open to the public only 6 hours a week, taking photographs of the dogs kept inside is strictly prohibited, and the overall situation is getting worse with each day;

7. The Mayor approved new employments of dog catchers, despite our strong opposition, and extended the Pound for 200% (while the number of veterinarians remained the same!)-it is evident that the intention is to speed up the elimination process, rather them to implement the CNR strategy. We are convinced that there are currently no conditions for human treatment, which is surely not even intended, supported by the fact that they refuse any cooperation with the NGO sector for protection of animals despite our open offer of assistance!!

We ask again for Your support and pressure.

Uk: Animal Organisation (Animal Aid) Undercover Animal Abuse Video Footage Forces Closure of English Slaughterhouse

Essex slaughterhouse exposé finds ‘unbearable cruelty and suffering’

Posted 27 June 2010

Animal Aid has today released footage taken secretly inside an Essex slaughterhouse that kills pigs. The film, which was shot over three days in April, shows scenes of extreme and deliberately-inflicted suffering, including use of electric tongs on animals’ snouts, tails and their open mouths. It was shot at A & G Barber’s abattoir in Purleigh, and is the seventh ‘red meat’ abattoir that the national campaign group has secretly filmed since January 2009. The Barber’s footage is the most shocking of all.

The Food Standards Agency has confirmed that one man has had his slaughter licence permanently revoked, and that both he and his employer are being investigated with a view to a prosecution.

Among the scenes filmed were:

  • Incompetent and inadequate stunning for almost every one of the 767 pigs filmed
  • Stunned pigs left to regain consciousness
  • The application of electric stunning tongs to snouts, ears and tails to encourage the animals to move or out of apparent malice
  • The use of electric stunning tongs around the bodies of animals, which does not stun but delivers instead a painful electric shock
  • Pigs being routinely kicked in the face
  • Pigs being hit in the face with shackle hooks, in one case, drawing blood

This is the seventh red meat slaughterhouse that Animal Aid has secretly filmed during the past 18 months, and the sixth where legal breaches have been recorded. As a result of this ongoing investigation, nine men from five slaughterhouses have been either suspended or have had their slaughter licences permanently revoked. Additionally, legal action has been taken or is underway against all nine men and also against four of the slaughterhouse operators.

Says Animal Aid Head of Campaigns, Kate Fowler:

‘The suffering inflicted on pigs at A & G Barber’s is unbearable to watch. That these vulnerable animals are forced to endure terrible and deliberate cruelty while the slaughterer mocks their plight is absolutely shocking.

‘The system has failed to protect these animals from violence, and our investigations indicate that breaches of animal welfare laws are widespread and commonplace. Our campaign to have CCTV installed in all slaughterhouses – which now has the support of the Food Standards Agency – would help ensure best practice and provide evidence for prosecutions but it will never end the suffering. The only way to do that is to choose meat-free foods.’

Notes for Editors:

Since Animal Aid first released footage in August 2009, we have been calling for CCTV to be installed in all slaughterhouses to help vets monitor the stunning and slaughter process, to encourage best practice, to help with training and retraining and to provide evidence. We called for CCTV to be installed because it is clear from our investigations that the current monitoring system is inadequate and that many legal breaches and examples of bad practice are going undetected by vets.

We are now supported in this aim by the RSPCA, Compassion in World Farming, the Soil Association (which has given accreditation to two of the abattoirs we filmed) and – most importantly – the government’s Food Standards Agency (FSA).

The footage from our cameras is being used by Bristol University to help train abattoir vets and Soil Association inspectors, and by the FSA as evidence for prosecutions.

Additional slaughterhouse failings that Animal Aid aims to change include the poor provision of training for slaughterers, and the currently meaningless ‘fit and proper person’ test. Details on these can be found here: http://www.animalaid.org.uk/images/pdf/factfiles/slaughtertraining.pdf.

Slaughterhouse accused of ‘unbearable cruelty’ closes

19 August 2010 | By Alistair Driver

AN Essex slaughterhouse has been forced to close after secret filming inside it by animal welfare campaigners led to allegations of serious cruelty towards pigs.

A and G Barber, of Purleigh, used to kill a quarter of all cull sows in the UK. Its main buyer, said to be a German sausage manufacturer, cancelled its contract after viewing the footage, forcing the abattoir to close.

The abattoir was one of a number exposed in secret filming by Animal Aid earlier this year. The animal welfare group said the film, shot over three days in April, showed scenes of ‘extreme and deliberately-inflicted suffering’, including use of electric tongs on animals’ snouts, tails and in their mouths.

It said other breaches filmed include ‘incompetent and inadequate stunning’ for most of the 767 pigs filmed, stunned pigs left to regain consciousness, and pigs being routinely kicked in the face and hit in the face with shackle hooks.

One worker and the slaughterhouse operator still face prosecution.

Kate Fowler, Animal Aid’s head of campaign, criticised the failure of the regulatory system to pick up the abuses at an abattoir where veterinary inspectors were in attendance.

“It is appalling that the cruelties meted out to animals at A&G Barber were allowed to continue and that all regulatory systems failed to detect and stop the abuses,” she said.

“If Animal Aid hadn’t happened to film at the plant, we believe that workers would still be kicking, beating and causing deliberate suffering to pigs there. It is right and proper that companies who have seen our film shunned A&G Barber.”

Animal Aid has covertly filmed inside seven randomly chosen red meat slaughterhouses since January 2009. In six of the seven, it claims to have recorded ‘breaches of animal welfare laws and avoidable animal suffering’.

A Government-industry group formed by the Veterinary Public Health Association (VPHA) to address issues raised by the filming has proposed changes to the way staff are monitored in abattoirs.

The group fell short of accepting calls by Animal Aid and other campaigners for compulsory CCTV in abattoirs.

But it agreed that plant operators and Official Veterinarians must have effective procedures in place either to constantly monitor stunning and slaughter operations, or to enable them to ‘inconspicuously observe’ them ‘at any time’.

These arrangements may include an aperture or window into the stunning area or the use of CCTV, the group agreed.

The organisations represented, include various meat trade bodies, Defra, the Food Standards Agency and the Humane Slaughter Association (HSA), with the British Veterinary Association observing.

Serbia: Furnace Used to Kill Dogs in Cuprija ? – Shinters Try to Take 5 Puppies From Citizen to Kill Them – The no kill law of Serbia is not being implemented anywhere !

The photos here show a shinters car from Cuprija – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%86uprija

Here they catch dogs and cats, as well as other towns and cities such as Svilajnac.  In Cuprija, they have a furnace for killing dogs.  We know of information which says that live dogs are killed by being burnt in these furnaces.  Cats are always dead before they arrive at the furnace, because the shinters throw live cats into the same vehicle that carries the dogs; and the dogs kill the cats.

EPAR in Subotica has received a letter about the shinters at the city pound of Pozega – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Po%C5%BEega,_Serbia

We are informed that there is only one cage at the pound, which contains around 40-50 dogs, who are all deprived of both food and water, even in temperatures of around 40 degrees C.

A letter provided by a citizen of Uzice city says that shinters have caught her little dog.  The lady in question writes that she went to look for this pound.  She understands that her dog was killed.  The lady still had 5 puppies belonging to this dog.  The next day shinters went to the house of the lady saying that they wanted to take the puppies and kill them also.

The lady threw the shinters out of her house, but the shinters then called the police.

We do not know what happened after this but telephone calls are being made to gather more information.

The no kill law of Serbia is not being implemented anywhere.

The letter provided by a the lady of Uzice city can be seen below:

Sweden: The Horror of Sweden’s Fur Farms Exposed – Take Action Now – Sample Letter and Contacts Included

The Horror of Sweden’s Fur Farms Exposed –

Take Action Now!!!

The Animal Rights Alliance in Sweden have just released the shocking
results of their 18 month investigation in to the Swedish Mink Farming
Industry, including sick and injured animals, stereotypical behaviour and
cannibalism.

Full details of the investigation can be found here:–

http://www.sveketmotminkarna.se/horror-revealed-swedish-fur-farms

With a General Election in Sweden only weeks away, one of the major topics
of the election campaign is a potential ban on all fur farms in Sweden.

Please support the campaign to end fur farming in Sweden by emailing Swedish Embassies worldwide to demand a complete ban on fur farming,

(Emails and Sample Letter below).

The Animal Rights Alliance reveals major animal abuse – Minks have been let down for 22 years!

For the past year-and-a-half, the Animal Rights Alliance investigation unit has been mapping out the Swedish fur industry. We have combed through environmental inspection protocols, court documents and research reports and what’s more – we have visited one-fifth of the 75 mink farms in Sweden to see them for ourselves. We have discovered major environmental violations by an industry that is already highly-criticized. Above all we have discovered the mink. Clever, beautiful wild mink imprisoned in shed after shed, housing row after row of small dirty cages. Mink that will never see any water beyond what comes out of a water nipple, even though they are hunters that naturally spend half of their life in water. Mink that express so-called stereotypical behavior, endless repetitive motion without purpose, a feeble attempt at dealing with stress and frustration.

We already knew that this would be the case. We were prepared for meeting curious eyes behind bars from animals that are so psychologically-broken that they incessantly circle their cages. We knew that it would be bad, but reality on the farms was worse than we could have ever imagined.

We understood that the mortality rate would be high. Several reports show that one out of every four or five animals die before they reach 6 months of age. But we didn’t know how they die – and how they suffer. Now we know. We have seen pups chewing on their dead littermates, entire litters where every animals has had its ear bitten off; young animals with gaping wounds on their heads; and fully-grown mink that twist and turn in agony, screaming in panic from pain and illness that minutes later ceases but only with their death.

It has been terrible to see all of this without being able to do anything about it. On our worst days, we felt completely powerless. But we’ve been driven to continue toward our goal – to make public the horrific animal cruelty that occurs on the farms. This animal cruelty cannot continue in silence.

The fourth paragraph of the Animal Welfare Act clearly states that all animals must be allowed to express their natural behaviours and that they must be protected from unnecessary suffering. But Sweden continues to allow mink to be bred and kept in mesh cages that are no bigger than 30 x 90 centimeters before being killed to produce an unnecessary luxury product that nobody needs. In 2003, the Swedish Commission of Inquiry into the Fur Industry gave Swedish fur farms until 2010 to comply with the Animal Welfare Act.  Seven years later we can conclude that the Swedish fur industry has done nothing to improve conditions for mink on fur farms. It is high-time that the fur industry is made history.

The Animal Rights Alliance
The Animal Rights Alliance is a not-for-profit campaigning group that speaks for the animals. Founded in 2005, we have since then brought about the criminalization of bestiality, organized five veggie food conventions and exposed the Swedish pork industry through undercover investigation. Our work for the animals is completely dependent on donations, supporting members and active volunteers.

STEREOTYPICAL BEHAVIOR
“Animals shall be kept and maintained in an environment that furthers their good health and allows them to behave naturally”.  – Animal Welfare Act (1988:534), 4 §
We have filmed evidence of stereotypical behavior on thirteen of the fifteen farms that we visited. The stereotypes, by which we mean incessant repetitive motion that serves no purpose, is a feeble attempt by the mink to deal with stress and frustration. It is a common symptom of an animal’s natural needs not being met.
“The majority of mink show typical signs of derangement that animals express when confined to areas that are too constrictive” – Sverre Sjölander, Professor in Zoology.

SICK AND INJURED ANIMALS
“A sick or injured animal shall be given necessary medical attention, if the illness or injury isn’t severe enough to justify the animal being put down immediately”.
    Animal Welfare Act (1988:534) § 9.
We have found sick animals with infected eyes and ear; unconscious, convulsive and dead animals were found on two-thirds of the farms. Maimed, bleeding animals with torn-off ears, large gaping head wounds and missing limps were found on eleven of the fifteen visited farms. The horrific injuries are the result of fights caused by crowding in shockingly small cages – in the wild mink interact only to mate – but the injuries are also oftentimes caused by self-mutilation. According to 2 § of the Animal Welfare Act, animals are to be “treated well and are to be protected from unnecessary suffering and illness”.
“If a cow becomes sick, then we’re called immediately. But the mink are so many that if one animal becomes sick, then we’re not called – the animal has too little economic value for the farmer. We only get called if there is an epidemic. But every animal has an intrinsic value and the Animal Welfare Act clearly states that if an animal becomes sick, then it must be treated or euthanised. Large farms like mink farms have so many animals that it can take time before illness is discovered”
     – My Leffler, District Veterinarian who used to work on mink farms.

DEAD ANIMALS IN THE CAGES
On 80% of the farms, we found dead animals in the cages – in most cases, the carcasses were left among other living animals. In many cases, the carcasses had been half-eaten by their mother and siblings.
“ In the natural world, it isn’t normal for a mink to be forced to be around another dead mink.  When it happens on a farm, it can lead to cannibalism because they are so under stimulated and don’t know how to react to the situation” – Mark Collins, Veterinarian

DIRTY CAGES
On 67% of the farms, we found cages where large amounts of faeces had piled up, oftentimes in thick layers. Mink avoid their own feces so when the cage fills up with waste, an already small space becomes even smaller.

ILLEGAL SEWAGE RUNOFF
Manure runoff could be documented at 80% of the farms. Mink manure contains high levels of nitrogen and phosphorus and causes contamination of water and soil if leaked out into the environment. Mink farms are therefore classified as environmentally-hazardous operations. By law, manure must be stored in such a way that it is sheltered from rain while preventing soil seepage.

ILLEGAL HANDLING OF CARCASSES
“Carcasses awaiting transport shall be stored in such a way that disease cannot be spread through contact with wild animals. The waste shall be stored separate from living animals” – Board of Agriculture Regulations 2009:6, section K 14.
Dead mink that had been left to rot throughout and around the farm property, or were otherwise disposed of improperly, were found on 73% of the farms, even though all carcasses must be immediately removed and stored, preferably frozen. Many carcasses had been left to rot for at least 6 months, since the pelting season last November.

CANNIBALISM
We have documented cannibalism on half of the farms. Mink females that kill their young and littermates that kill and eat one another is more the rule than the exception. Cannibalism is caused by stress and lack of stimulation. The mink have no release for their hunting instincts and those mink that fall victim to attack have no possibility to take flight or cover in their tiny cages.
“Animals on fur farms have high levels of stress and this can cause cannibalism” –  My Leffler, Veterinarian.

 Sample Letter:–

For the attention of the Government of Sweden,

I’m writing to you today to express my horror at the shocking animal
welfare standards on Swedish mink farms that have been exposed in a recent
investigation conducted by the Animal Rights Alliance in Sweden.

Full details of their investigation can be found here:–
 http://www.sveketmotminkarna.se

As I’m sure you will be aware, in 2003 the Swedish Commission of Inquiry
into the Fur Industry gave Swedish fur farms until 2010 to comply with the
Animal Welfare Act (1988:534), however seven years later we can conclude
that the Swedish fur industry has done absolutely nothing to improve
conditions for mink on fur farms in that time!

It is evident that the Fur Industry and Animal Welfare are completely
incompatible, and therefore I urge you in the strongest possible terms to
ensure that both the Swedish Animal Welfare Act (1988:534) is properly
enforced and that the decision of the Swedish Commission of Inquiry into the
Fur Industry is acted upon.

 Sincerely,

 YOUR NAME / YOUR COUNTRY
