Note – There are many GOOD animal saviour campaigners in China – this video footage of some of their work.
Please do not judge all of China because of the actions and abuses of some. This is where we need to pull together to support campaigners in paces like China; get the changes and make the difference.

Happy 2018 Everyone – Have a great year campaigning
– with many BIG positives on the horizon.
For us, and as further determination to improve in 2018, the major victory of the year 2017 lies with the incredible Jill at Animals Asia and the signing of an agreement with the Viet Nam government to free every single bile bear in the country (0ver 4,000 bears) and give them all new cruelty free homes at AA sanctuaries. Read more on this at:
That without doubt can be considered the major animal event of the year. There are many more; people ditching meat and taking up a cruelty free lifestyle instead; animals in circuses; the great news we have just had here in the UK that the government will not consider a free vote on the return to hunting. So much more good news !
So much has been achieved, but there is still so much to do. But it can, and will be achieved. Nowdays, with the use of computer systems and instant global audiences being at fingertips, news, campaigns and actions can be undertaken within a few seconds of events happening. This is how it is now and how the future will be – animal abusers will continue to be exposed and as with the UK government, they (governments) will be driven into a corner where they have no option but to do what the people, their voters, want. Democracy is powerful, ok !
Lets make this drive to get governments to listen and act positively for the animals who have no voice our determination for 2018.
On such days and as the old year goes on, the need to determine and evaluate who we are, will become more pressing.
Saying “we”, who do we mean?
I want to explain it, so that no one complains and reproaches me that I have not sent him any New Year’s wishes.
As far as my wishes are concerned, they do not follow a conventional hypocrisy, and that’s why I will not address everyone.
I appeal to us.
To those who fight, because they want to change a system of violence, of crime, to change a system of tyranny against the animals.
I turn to those who, with every means, every force, help to build a new future for the animals, without blood, without slavery.
I turn to the enemies of slaughterhouses and concentration camps, to the enemies of a fur, leather, hunting.
To the saviors of the strays, to the brave ones who are not afraid to show the animal killers.
It is not another world view, or any other opinion that separates us from the others.
What makes us different is about an advanced ethic, an ethic for animals, which is confirmed every day by our struggle, the fight for the liberation of animals, for the liberation of animals from tyranny, and the brutal exploitation of others.
We are few, but we are organized, determined, and we are not tired.
We are the progress against the anachronism.
To all of us I send my warmest wishes for a year full of health, strength and courage.Venus
2017 is almost over. We are grateful to all of our supporters who have taken actions throughout this year to campaign against the horrendous cruelty of South Korea’s dog and cat meat trade. Your time and effort are not wasted. We are making a difference, even though the changes cannot come fast enough. In 2018, we will continue to do whatever we can to be the voice for the millions of animals horribly treated and killed in the South Korea’s dogs and cat meat industry.
We have campaigns asking the Olympic teams to take a stand and speak out against the cruel dog and cat meat trade in South Korea, the host of the 2018 Winter Olympics (PyeongChang 2018). There are several ways you can help fight this cruelty:
1) by signing and sharing our petitions;
2) by sending protest letters and emails;
3) by raising awareness of this brutal and barbaric practice and calling for an end to the trade by exposing this issue in social media.
Below are new campaigns.
Please click each to take action TODAY. Thank you!
Our Thunderclap campaign has been bi-monthly but during the PyeongChang 2018 (February 9-25) Olympic, it will be launch daily. So please keep joining and sharing! Only cost for you is your 2 seconds of time for clicking. Thank you! Click HERE to join now.

Last two dancing bears rescued from ‘lifetime of suffering’ in Nepal
Photo – WAP
The last two known “dancing bears” of Nepal have been rescued by an animal charity, after “a lifetime of suffering” at the hands of their captors.
The two sloth bears, Rangila and Sridevi, are recovering from the enduring psychological stress of performing for human entertainment.
The World Animal Protection charity said it worked with the Jane Goodall Institute of Nepal and with police to finally put an end to the bears’ misery.

Christmas!
We call this time a quiet, silent, holy time.
Many think it is the celebration of love.
The best proof of this is, that God sent His Son to Earth to give love and peace to the people.
Although we speak of love during this time, we are doing something completely different.
With the animals.
The silent and holy night that we humans sing solemnly by candlelight, and accompany with animal corpses on our table, is for our fellow creatures another night, a night in hell, as well as every other night.
The piglet in the animal factory behind bars, lonely and injured, the dehorned cow on the chain that calls her newborn, the goose with the sick liver that can no longer stand, the chicken waiting for the transport, the furry animal in the cage suspecting his death …
As we Christians sing our Christmas carols and celebrate the feast of love, millions of our fellow creatures in the animal factories will fall victim to love, our love for human beings.
And while our children play the traditional game of ox and donkey, we will prepare the Christmas menu, the festive meal of love, and fill our belly with body parts of lamb, suckling pig, turkey, and whole.
We the liars, the Pharisees, the criminals of this world.
We sent our footage to the company immediately and demanded that it drops the farm – but we have not received any response.
During two visits to Poplar Farm this autumn our investigators found pigs with open, bleeding wounds on their ears; severely lame pigs left in a pen with other pigs; pregnant pigs kept in barren, concrete pens without any enrichment and severely scarred pigs who appeared to be victims of aggression caused by the harsh living conditions.
In violation of legislation governing disposal of dead animals – intended to minimise the public health risk associated with diseased animals – two dead pigs were left out in the open yard overnight. One had clearly been shot in the head.
We are calling on Morrisons, and all supermarkets, to adopt a zero-tolerance policy on animal welfare breaches.Farms that leave injured and ill animals to suffer should be dropped immediately by retailers!
ACTION
Please contact Morrisons’ CEO David Potts at
david.potts-ceo@morrisonsplc.co.uk
and urge him to drop Poplar Farm immediately. You can also share the above video on Twitter and tag @Morrisons, demanding it takes action.
