Good news:
plans to build a horrific rabbit factory farm in Gnosall, Staffordshire, (England) have just been rejected!
This decision comes after we sent the council a petition signed by more than 17,000 compassionate PETA supporters and after hundreds more people left objections on the council’s website.
The cruel farm would have bred gentle rabbits to be killed for their meat and skins. They would have spent their entire lives in cramped cages, unable to rear up on their hind legs, dig, hop, or do any of the other things that are natural and important to them.
It’s a huge relief that this farm has been refused planning permission – and it shows what we can achieve when we act together.
