Update! Chinese Embassy refuses to accept Petition/ re URGENT: DEMO, LONDON AGAINST HORRIFIC YULIN ‘FESTIVAL’ 24 June – and – Request for help in Yulin
http://www.dogmagazine.net/chinese-embassy-refuses-to-accept-petition-with-11-million-signatures-to-stopyulin/
Wake up! It’s always about money and power!
The only way to have an effect is to boycott Chinese tourism and to tell every big corporation manufacturing in or buying cheap crap from China and re-selling it to us, that we will not buy their products so long as this obscenity is allowed to continue! Added benefit would be that it would bring back the millions of manufacturing jobs that have been lost in our own country!
The same goes for the Philipines, S. Korea, Vietnam and other countries in S.E. Asia where eating dogs/cats is still allowed.
China has no humane laws and they have been dragging their heels on this for years. it’s time to end bear-bile farms as well, where thousands of bears are imprisoned and suffering in excruciating pain; the farms that raise and kill tigers for their penises; and the use of rhino horn for their traditional medicines.
American & International Corporations Who Manufacture In China-
http://www.jiesworld.com/international_corporations_in_china.htm
NOTATION- even though this is a very long list of American and other foreign corporations in China,it is certainly not a complete listing. We have only included a few of the names you may recognize.
This is a list of companies who either own factories, or have contract factories producing their productsin China. Some of the companies produce 100% of their products there, and others only produce parts,or certain ingredients for their products. The list below is approximately 1% of the actual Corporate list.
Companies such as Avon, GE, and AT&T for example, have been in China and manufacturing productsfor 20 to 30 years. Most American consumers simply had no idea. Previously their source was Japan.

See below:
Dear Friends I received the following message re: Yulin from Adrian please read with attention and if there is anything you can do to help please do so. We can Stop this torture if we all stick together! Thank you
Hi everyone. Your aid is very dearly needed. This is a significant effort that may spell a relatively quick death for Yulin festival. The founder of the Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation, Marc Ching, is leading a carefully orchestrated effort to strongly expose and speak out against the Yulin “festival” as well as the dog and cat meat torture trade in general.
But Marc Ching is requesting aid. Please view (and most importantly, Share widely) this post of his request, which includes some details on his strategy — but he needs our help. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1477398962574778/permalink/1617003798614293/ Exposure of his call for help is greatly needed. Please, Share widely in your social circles (Facebook, Twitter, or elsewhere). This is the critical moment to put all support in the effort. Thank you very much! Contents of the post:
FROM Marc
I need help.
In Yulin, I am going on a frontal assault. Shutting down slaughterhouses. Shutting down restaurants. I will be rescuing what I assume will exceed far over a hundred dogs.
1) We need to connect with other groups who have local space to shelter the dogs. This means making contact, and getting people to commit. We do not need contact numbers, we need you to connect and work to get the committals for us.
2) I need two volunteer vets that have Visas and are willing to come with me to China (I will pay for everything).
During the festival, I am airing torture videos on possibly ten monitors around the city to show the world and the people at the festival – the truths of what really happens behind the walls.
3) I need help finding a contact that lives in the Guangxi Province so that I can send my equipment and banners directly.
4) I need 2 to 4 drivers local to the area who are able to rent something like a large Uhaul to help transport the dogs (I will pay for everything).
I am putting together a PSA featuring Matt Damon, Bill Maher, Orlando Bloom, Russel Simmons, Sophia Bush, and others which we plan to air in China before the festival.
5) I need help contacting small media groups in China who would air the PSA.
I leave to Asia in 9 days, and there is just too much for me and my director Valarie to do by ourselves. This trip – it will be the journey into darkness and dying. This is the last stand. This is f***ing war. And if we can put the pieces into place, I promise you the effect we will have, it will change history.
In life – we get one moment. One chance to really change the world. This is that moment. This is that time. Let’s save humanity, and these dogs…
