Facets of feelings…

A life without animals is quite possible
but incomplete
Animals teach us loyalty, sensitivity, concealment, and a friendship for life.

We must not miss the opportunity to learn something from them.

The vocabulary of the slaughterhouse societyđŸ·

On the 4th of March in Wettringen, North Germany, a pig transporter caught fire. Half of the animals died or had to be killed, according to the police.

64 of them died at the scene of the accident.

Four of them had to be shot by local policemen as their injuries were so severe.

Other animals were euthanized by employees of the district veterinary office.

The surviving pigs were taken to the slaughterhouse – the original destination of the trip (!!!)

If we had a fair press, the message should be written as follows:

In MĂŒnsterland Wettringen burned a pig transporter. Half of the animals are burned painfully or had to be shot because of their heavy burns.

The creatures that survived the accident were taken to a nearby slaughterhouse to die just as painfully as their conspecifics recently died painfully at the time of the fire!

Anyone who reads this message should be aware that the torture of animals in transports, farms and slaughterhouses is the result of the boundless indifference of a slaughterhouse society that cares about the suffering of other beings for a shit.

Lebanon: the slaugter of migratory birds

Not only in Europe, more than 53 million wild birds are legally shot down by hunters each year, but also in other countries.

Several countries on the Mediterranean are famous for mass killing of migratory as resident birds. Lebanon is no exception and perhaps one of the worst culpits.

The estimated number of illegally killed birds in Lebanon is more than 2,600,000 annually.

Along the east-west roads, every twenty meter stands a hunter, who fires on every bird silhouette that flies over him. This sport is practiced by everyone, from rich to poor. Still mainly by the Christian Lebanese.

During the time that the birds migrate, cars full of hunters drive along the mountain roads or are lined up. Ready to shoot all what moves within their distance.

The sad live of Tsavo in isolation

Tsavo was condemned to a life of loneliness for economic reasons. As so often in the circus industry, he had to entertain the audience almost to the last breath in the ring.

On March 5, the 44-year-old rhinoceros Tsavo died in Circus “Krone” in Munich, Germany. He suffered from digestive problems for a long time and had lost 300 kilos in two months. The white rhino was the last of its kind to be displayed in a German travel circus. For the past forty years it has been kept under miserable conditions for entertainment.

Apart from many countries in Europe, Bolivia, China, Costa Rica Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, Israel, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Singapore (so-called “third world countries”) have already banned the carrying of certain species of wild animals in circuses.

Germany continues to lag behind.
