Hunters and the police took away a motherless baby deer from his home and his foster and now want to put him into a zoo. Their first plan was to slaughter him (as it is the usual practice here), but because of the public reaction the baby was saved. However he is not cared for properly. He has diarrhea and shows signs of stress and fear. He misses his caretaker very much and that feeling is mutual. The struggle to gain him back lasts for more than two weeks. Authorities are not doing their job and it may cost this baby deer’s life. Minister of Agriculture can issue an order that will bring Nani back home and there is a legitimate possibility for that however that is not happening even though Nani’s family has requested it. If Nani ends up in a zoo it will seal his life as a captive animal for good. Please help!

It is not normal from 10.8.2014. to today- no one official word from nobody here.
Situation is too long for Nani deer and poor Cameroon female – she is the only goat which has now not been killed by the hunters.

We at SAV are sending the pictures of Nani taken every time to the EU.
We have also been in contact with the EU regarding the situation and the Serbian Law of animal welfare in relation to making a decision about what was going to happen to Nani. We are now almost 2 months into still not having a (still) lack of decision / action by Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Mrs Bogosavljevic Boskovic; who originally had 30 days for acting in agreement to Article 58 of Serbian Law for Animal Welfare.

We consider this shows just how chronically bad the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture is as it is still not capable of making a decision some 30 days BEYOND its final decision date under existing Serbian Law !!
We will continue to take pictures, publish them on SAV and also send them to the EU for as long as it takes. We will continue to show the dramatic inability of Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Mrs Bogosavljevic Boskovic, to make any decision, until she does the right thing and makes a decision to send Nani deer back to Mrs. Titic; the adoptive parent.

Tik,Tak and Tok are siblings, three unwanted babies that had been living at a construction site in Belgrade since they were born. Their mother was a stray which disappeared a long time ago and they were forced to fend for themselves in that dangerous place, fed by locals but totally on their own and unprotected.
They were approximately three months old when they arrived at the shelter at the beginning of September, skinny and confused, with voracious appetites, but cuddly, curious and sweet.
Unfortunately, only one of them, a little tuxie boy named Tak, seems to be healthy. His brother Tik has a congenital birth defect, he was born with a deformed right rear leg which needs to be amputated.
Their sister, a tabby and white girl we named Tok, has only one eye as her other eye has already leaked out because of some untreated infection (probably herpes, chlamydia or both) and what’s left of it will have to be removed.
Although we thought Tok also had a harelip when she was brought to the shelter, we’re now more inclined to believe she was actually seriously injured some time ago, as a part of her lip is missing and she doesn’t have a cleft palate.
All three of them have fit in nicely right away and are getting stronger every day, so it’s time to start thinking about their surgeries.
The amputation of Tik’s leg and the removal of what’s left of Tok’s right eye will cost around 300 euros/$430CAD.
We need all of the help we can get in order to fix the serious problems these sad and neglected babies have the best way we can and enable them to live the long and happy lives they deserve.

Dopunjavamo prijavu konstatacijom da resursi Ministarstva poljoprivrede i zaštite životne sredine nisu partijski plen SPS , da može I dalje da radi ko šta hoće i dalje crpi javni novac i presipa u bezdane i crpi prirodne resurse Srbije, te s toga Vlada RS, na čelu sa premijerom i potpredsednicima Vlade mora da izvrši nadzor nad radom i zakonitošću rada ministarke gosp. Snežane Bogosavljević -Bošković I probudi je iz komatoznog stanja nečinjenja I nezakonitog činjenja zaposlenih u tom ministarstvu, ili je smeni sa te funkcije.
Načelnik RVI Kruševac nam se smeje u lice i kaže, ma pišite šta hoćete, …..briga je otrpilike, .po prijavama ne postupa ,ili postupa mimo zakona, ne dostavlja odgovore, neće da primi prijavu i nikom ništa, a takvo bezobrazno ponašanje dolazi samo od zaštite ministra i Uprave za veterinu koja godinama održava haotično stanje u toj oblasti izlažući i građane opasnosti od zaraza, kao i životinje.
Činjenično stanje je da se u ovom ministarstvu ne menja ama baš ništa godinama, isti ljudi sede I dalje krše Zakone RS I dalje oštećuju budžet RS I mnogo koštaju poreske obveznike za sav haos I korupciju koju održavaju sistematski a korupcionaški zidovi su neprobojni za nas kao NVO.
Ministarka Snežana Bogosavljević -Bošković je partijski kadar SPS-a. Ukoliko nije sposobna da se nosi sa napornim ministarskim poslom, neka sama ode! Ili je smenite!
Umesto nje, predlažemo, postavite gosp. Zoranu Mihajlović da raščisti to i zavede red, jer je ovo ministarstvo ogromno i mnogo budžetskih para troši, problemi su ogromni i traju, ništa se ne menja! Godinama !!! Načelnik RVI za Srbiju, gosp. Sanja Čelebićanin je ista godinama i godinama traje sav haos, nerad i neprimanjivanje Zakona svih RVI u Srbiji i nikom ništa!
Ministarstvo unutrašnjih poslova I gosp. Nebojša Stefanović sa pratećim službama u koje verujemo, mora da počisti PU Kruševac u PS Ćićevac od nepotizma, rođačko partijskog zapošljavanja I svih zloupotreba službenog položaja koji iz toga proističu. Samo za slučaj nezakonitog oduzimanja laneta Nani u Ćićevcu uz asistenciju pol. insp. Vidakovića , podneli smo 3 dopune pritužbe na rad I na kraju na odluku komisije, žalbu ,u samo 2 meseca, podneli smo i više prijava za zlostavljanje predmetnog laneta na razne načine, I policiji I republičkoj veterinarskog inspekciji u Kruševcu, niko ni ušima ne mrda, svi ne čine ništa, plata ide redovno, oni “spavaju” jer ne mogu da pokidaju korupcionaške lance u koje su se sami zavezali.
Ministarka ćuti a ćute I nadležni u policiji koji bi morali postupati.

Insistiramo da se lane Nani , zatočeno u fazaneriji LU Ćićevac, odmah vrati u svoju ljudsku porodicu u Ćićevcu koja ga željno očekuje I od njega na taj način otklone sve opasnosti kojima je izloženo puna 2 meseca. Procedura po zakonu se može završtiti ali lane mora biti bezbedno, mi ne možemo pod takvom presijom I kršenjem zakona sedeti mirno a ne možemo ni podnositi prijave za šta postoje dokazi jer prijave stoje negde u fijoci, samo se LU Ćićevac obavesti da ima nova prijava i tako lane može stradati kad se predsedniku LU Miliji Đorđeviću koji vedri i oblači u Ćićevcu i okolini smuči i lane I prijave, i lane “nestane” , a sve to štiti upravo ministar poljoprivrede I unutrašnjih poslova svojim nečinjenjem.
Ponavljamo opet, da pitomo lane Nani po Zakonu o divljači I lovstvu nije lovna divljač te s toga LU Čićevac uopšte nije smelo da ga oduzima.
Insistiramo na hitnom postupanju I hitnom dostavljanju odgovora šta je učinjeno po ovoj prijavi.

He was found seriously injured, with a completely shattered front left leg and a broken front right leg.
Both of his injured legs were operated on months ago, but his body is still chock-full of buckshot.
After the surgeries, he spent four months in a cage with a metal rod put into one of his broken legs while the other one was splinted and two more months recovering once the metal rod was removed.
He was kept in foster care, and was not allowed to move very much . He was brought him to our shelter in August 2014, as his foster caretaker wished to give him the chance of a fulfilled life in the company of other cats.
Unaccustomed to the curious crowd of kitties, he is still somewhat withdrawn and shy, but he’s able to walk, although he’s limping and his front left leg is kind of stiff.
Hopefully time will heal all wounds.

UPDATE ‘NANI’ 6/10/14
The current situation with Nani the deer is not good. As you can see from the photographs below showing the conditions; Nani is not being looked after by the hunters very well at all – what would we expect ? !!
Today we at SAV have been in contact with the EU regarding the situation and the (still) lack of decision / action by Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Mrs Bogosavljevic Boskovic; who originally had 30 days for acting in agreement to Article 58 of the Serbian Law of animal welfare in relation to making a decision about what was going to happen to Nani.
We are now asking the Enlargement Commission of the EU to seriously consider Serbia’s lack of action to ‘enforce its own law’ – enforcing a nations own ‘rules of law’ a fundamental requirement of any state seeking EU membership for the future.
In addition, we have telephoned the office of a UK MEP and asked them to advise us if we are now able (as another European member) to take legal action against the Serbian Agriculture Ministry for not acting in agreement to Article 58. of Serbian Law of animal welfare, which requires a response (in this case, for Nani) within 30 days.
The Serbian President has even written to the Serbian Agriculture Ministry regarding the situation of Nani the deer; but to date, we still have had no response from Agriculture. We are hoping to hear back from the EU in London today (6/10/14) regarding how we can further progress regarding the issue of Nani; as Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Mrs Bogosavljevic Boskovic does not appear to be capable of complying with any rules of Serbian law. The 30 day final decision time was passed several weeks ago. If this is the case, that Serbia cannot even enforce it own laws within Serbia, then the EU needs to be reminded of this situation; and it has been today.
Here below are the latest photographs of Nani and the conditions it is currently living in at present at the facility of the hunters. These pictures are also being forwarded to the EU today to further support our claim that Mrs Bogosavljevic Boskovic is not complying with Serbian law or that required for Serbia to become a future member of the EU.
Nani should be returned to Mrs. Mitic immediately for her to become the adoptive parent she was after hunters killed the mother of Nani.
It is not asking the world, but Minister Mrs Bogosavljevic Boskovic seems to delay ever having to make a very simple decision. It is now time she made a decision in favour of returning Nani to Mrs. Mitic as the gaurdian / parent.

He was a nice little African-Cameroon goat.
You saw on pics from farm where Nani is, was female and male Cameroon goats.
Things like this one ,are typical for homo sapiens brutal animal species, this species knows and do hating and killing for fun – no one species never kill for enjoy- only brutal morbid homo sapiens species, even doesn`t know what is its natural food .
I am very sad and only my feelings are Sad and deep Shame.

Minister of Agriculture, Mrs Bogosavljevic Boskovic originally had 30 day for acting in agreement to Article 58. of Law of animal welfare – but she did not .
That is why I send to her a letter by which I remind her for her law obligation.
It is in opposite to law that state any organ go to be silent – must answer
and the Answer must be in agreement to laws.
In agreement to Serbian laws this Minister must send ( into 30 days from
official Request ) Decide about back Nani deer to Dragana Mitic and Nani`s
home, because all evidences speak to this form Decide.
