Spain: ‘Angel’ Update – Saved and Recovering From Terrible Suffering

Look at these – what a beautiful dog he is …

As you remember he was found 5 weeks ago wandering the streets with a wire noose around his neck which constricted him almost to the point of suffocation (which no doubt was the intention of the person – likely a hunter – who tried to kill him that way). Images of his original state below.

He’s undergone surgery several times – on his neck and leg – and is improving slowly now.

But what a change !

One of his eyes is still giving him trouble – but that is due to the extreme swelling of the head, and only time will tell if he will regain his eyesight on that side.

Angel is sweet, but very cautious – understandably, after what he has gone through.

“Angel” eventually seeks a new home with understanding loving people.

Donations for his continued medical treatment are most welcome.

International: New Category on SAV for Animals Requiring Permanent Loving Homes

A new category has now been introduced to this SAV site which shows beautiful little animals from anywhere in the World requiring adoption or to be found loving new permanent homes.

The category is called “Animals Requiring Adoption or Homes – Worldwide”; and you can visit it just like all other categories by selecting from the drop down “Select Category” area on the right hand directly under “Yahoo Groups – join now”.

This new category for animals requiring homes will be regularly updated – so please visit regularly and see if you are able to help.

Even if you are not in the country with animals requiring homes, please help us to spread word around to any or all of your animal contacts.

jaula estuvo a punto de acabar con su vida, y no es la primera vez que ocurre.

No esta recibiendo ningun tipo de atencion veterinaria, y esta sufriendo en silencio.
Necesitamos acogida o adopcion para ella.

Es muy urgente por favor!!!!!!!

Por favor, esta Pitbull hembra lleva muchisimo tiempo en la perrera. Es jovencita.
Os dejo una foto de cuando llegó y de cómo está ahora.

She is a very loving dog, very sociable, at the point that she lets herself starving because her cage mate has left the dog pond, and this is not the first time that this happens with her.
She does not receive any veterinary care, and she is suffering in silence.
We need urgently someone for her who can take her in host!!! Please help !!
