Dear animal friends;
I am sure that over the last few days, many of you will have noticed that all of the little red dots have disappeared from our ‘Clustrmap’ of the world which you can see on the left hand side of the site.
This is because a regular, once-yearly archive takes place and our archive was activated on 8th March.
So we are now commencing a brand new year of ‘gathering dots’ on our clustrmap.
Naturally, people always like to have and see ever-more-dots, but the regular archive is the only way to avoid having the maps turn into a ‘giant red smear’, and continue delivering the scalable service that everyone has come to expect.
The great news was that up to 8th March,
during the last year we had 9,778 visits to the site;
so thank you everyone.
The important thing to remember is that although we have had around 10,000 hits, the information which is on this site, will be sent out further to all your animal contacts by all you good folks; so our 10,000 hits may become 20,000, 50,000 or more, who knows !
All we know is that every single hit we have at the site is productive for animal welfare issues around the world. SAV started as a site solely dedicated to helping Serbian animals; and whilst this is a continuing priority for us, it is also necessary to highlight the terrible suffering and abuse that happens globally every day to animals. I hope that you feel this is a positive thing for SAV to be doing.
So please, continue to spread the word about all the issues which we cover, and help us put even more little red dots on our global map in the coming year.
I appreciate your support of our little site at SAV and all the great work you are all doing in defence of animals everywhere. Keep on keeping on !!!
Thanks and Regards
Mark – SAV, London, England.

In memory of a little Serbian friend no longer with us.
