The UK anti hunting group the ‘League Against Cruel Sports’ (LACS); has been doing some fantastic work as always.
We celebrate 90 years of saving British wildlife with them:
David Cameron – UK Prime Minister – A Real Blood Lust To Return To Hunting With Dogs !
As we have always said and shown in many of our posts on this site; current UK Prime Minister David Cameron wishes to bring back the current ban on hunting with dogs as soon as he can. Cameron is also behind the recent badger cull in the UK, which despite killing many badgers; a protected species here in the UK, did nothing to actually prove or show that badgers were behind the spread of Bovine TB.
The badger cull is just another vote rigging ploy by the Conservatives in some pathetic attempt to gain from the farming community in the General Election which will take place in the UK during May 2015.
Being utterly anti hunt, the LACS was banned from attending the Conservative Party Conference this year to put forward the animal welfare side of the argument.
LACS CEO Joe Duckworth made a statement on the situation which you can read at:
The LACS was allowed to attend all other Political party conferences this year. The League was granted a pass for the annual conferences of the Greens, UKIP, the Liberal Democrats, the Labour Party, SNP and Plaid Cymru. The Conservative Party was the only party to reject their application.
We consider this just shows how the Conservatives want to keep the anti- hunt campaigners out of their shop; in order that they can try to allow wild animal killing back when they can.
Hopefully the elections in the UK in May 2015 will see Mr. Cameron fail to remain as PM; and with another political party having the majority in the House of Commons, we will continue to see hunting with dogs kept where it belongs – in the History boos and nowhere else !
In November 2013 the LACS launched a nationwide awareness campaign featuring the brilliant comedian Dave Spikey to highlight the importance of the Hunting Act in protecting British wildlife.

We DO NOT want to return to this animal abuse which celebrates around 10 years of a ban in the UK this year (2014). The Conservatives led by David Cameron DO WISH to return to this immense suffering being inflicted on British wildlife. Banning the LACS from their party conference was just another action of theirs to try and return to full blown hunting of wild animals in the UK.
We abhor animal cruelty and will do anything that we can in the lead up to the UK General Election in May 2015. The Conservatives and Mr. Cameron must be removed from government. I think this is very much the feeling of most of the general public in the UK at this present time.
Look at the following picture of a hunted fox that I took back in the 1980’s when sabs across the country were doing all that they could to stop and disrupt hunts. Ask yourself; do you wish to see an animal abused in this way again if the hunting act is repealed by a Conservative government ? – NO – we wish to see a government in the UK that supports and promotes animal welfare.
You can visit the League Against Cruel Sports at their Website = http://www.league.org.uk/#
Go to http://www.league.org.uk/our-campaigns for all the information on current campaigns that the LACS are involved with.
As ‘No Joke’ Dave Spikey says in the video above; why not become a member of the LACS ?

KEEP CRUELTY HISTORY !!
Regards Mark.
