SAV Comment – Bastards like these should get 10 years; not 10 months.
The time has come to say something about the work of the Investigation “Hillside’s Farm Animal”. Not many words, just a heartfelt “thank you”. Thanks for the hard work. Thank you for the courage and perseverance. Thanks for the nerves. The many cruel days with sadists and helpless animals have left traces certainly. I can already imagine: you can still hear the cries of the animals at night in your dreams, and the senseless cruelty of the mass murderer in this cave burns almost like the mark on the body of the animals in your head. But you are continuing relentlessly, consistently, hard!
Dear Team of Hillside`s Farm Animal Investigation, I am with you, and I wish to express my respect, my appreciation and solidarity. Venus.
Patron: Martin Shaw Prison Sentence for Bagshaw after Hillside Film Cruelty at Slaughterhouse
Hillside are encouraged to hear that, today at Stafford Crown Court, Anthony Bagshaw has been sentenced to a custodial term of 10 months in prison and banned from keeping, owning, transporting or delivering farm animals for 15 years.
Over the last 20 years Hillside’s Farm Animal Investigations have exposed a great many cases of animal cruelty and neglect right across the country. To our great disappointment, much of these have not been treated seriously by the Authorities. We are pleased that today an appropriate sentence was handed down and we hope this will go some way to discourage others who may be involved in animal cruelty.
It is worth noting that, had Hillside’s Farm Animal Investigation team not been able to obtain the harrowing evidence of barbaric cruelty happening behind the closed doors of this ‘High Class’ family slaughterhouse, it would still be going on right now. We hope the FSA will rise to the challenge of their role, which is so vital in protecting farm animals the dreadful abuse that is all too common in the farming industry.

I was in a distant country, in South America. I wanted to visit friends.
The supermarket, where this photo was taken, was a great one and had everything to sell!
Suddenly my eye falls on this chamber of horrors. Department “meat”! It was not all as neat as in the picture when I saw the heads.
One was perched, one other tipped down, the third one was behind and not be seen.
Altogether there were five heads.
I stay in front of the glass and look in.
Motionless, I cannot believe it! The butcher comes and asks what I want. A photo, I say, can I take pictures of the pig heads? Of course, he said, and begins to arrange the heads. The image must be “beautiful”, he says. He tries, which head to the right, which left.
The chunks of meat disturb a bit, he says, they are not “beautiful” and make the picture bad. Gradually other people gather around me, they like the idea of taking pictures, they smile and make comments.
The cruel sight of the dead, still bleeding heads of creatures does not seem to touch them.
A few years ago this would be inconceivable. Today the farm industry no longer needs to protect the corpse consumers, because it knows: the apathy of modern man is secure.
Suddenly, the security personnel appear. “Photography is prohibited”, they say, and they want to immediately deleting the picture.
I save myself and my picture with great effort, and leave the supermarket.
Photographing murder victim has been banned, but its murder does not!
That is the prevailing morality of a society which every day fed by the suffering and the blood of animals.
A society that lives on the edge of the moral minimum.

Fight dogfighting in Mexico
Dear Mark,
Dogfighting is a gruesome spectacle that pits one dog against another—forcing them to fight until they are seriously injured or worse.
This is a highly unpopular event in Mexico entangled with dangerous people and organized crime. In dogfighting there is no winner. The losing dog is often killed—by his opponent or by his owner— and the “victorious” animal often dies from wounds sustained during the fight.
While dogfighting is banned in several Mexican states, there is no federal law that explicitly prohibits it and it is not typified in the federal criminal code. Not only is this tragic for Mexico, but even in areas where dogfighting is outlawed like the U.S., American-based dogfighters will come to Mexico to participate and avoid law enforcement.
It’s time to stop the relocation of dogfighting and instead put an end to this cruelty.
With your help, we hope to pass legislation that criminalizes dogfighting at the federal level while encouraging people to use our tip line to report suspicious activity. We also plan to train local law enforcement to respond effectively to these reports.
And the EU Enlargement Commission ? – just the same.
And yet they tell us that Serbia is a ‘candidate country’ (for membership) which means that it should be showing that it is applying ‘the rule of law’.
We are sending the charge to the EU anyway – but expect nothing in return.

This is charge against person who still did do the same crimes , torture animals in opposite to Serbian laws , still long time , because he was inadequately punished – opposite to Serbian laws , he repeats a criminal acts.

Target: Claire Loftus, Director of Public Prosecutions in Ireland
Goal: Demand that the person responsible for stabbing a dog and dousing him in chemicals be sentenced to the maximum penalty possibly.
A family dog suffered serious burns after he was doused in chemicals. The attack occurred in the dog’s own backyard. Demand that justice is served for this innocent dog.
Shocking images show the dog’s torso completely burned by an unknown chemical. The dog also suffered three puncture wounds in his side. Authorities claim that the dog was likely held down through the fence during the attack. Though he sustained substantial injuries, the dog is expected to survive.

NO GOLD MEDALS HERE!!!
Dear Mark,
The Amazon rainforest is under threat.The Brazilian government want to grant permission for over 40 destructive mega dams to be built right through the heart of the forest. This could completely drown endangered wildlife, and displace thousands of Indigenous Peoples.
In order to build one single dam, greedy corporations must also destroy hundreds of kilometres of fragile rainforest for roads, workers’ housing and construction work. Multiply this by 42 and you can see how the levels of devastation will be catastrophic.
Will you help us save the Amazon from destructive dams Mark with a regular gift?
We must act now to stop these dams from going ahead. We need to increase surveillance in the Amazon so we can photograph dam destruction and gather the evidence we need to lobby big business.
