A few days ago is an article in the German newspaper “Tagesspiegel” appeared… “When animal welfare becomes a problem: why this farmer has to kill his pigs …” Against this article is written a very accurate criticism from the blog “Pig Live”.
Here’s the criticism:
“200 new victims? Oh, they’re just pigs …
As is well known, African swine fever (ASF) reached Germany in September 2020.
The outbreak so far affects the east part of our (banana) Republic and the victims are all wild boars.
Until now.
On March 12th In all likelihood, around 200 domestic pigs will have to go under the number of victims.
Animals that are not sick at all.
But: they live with one of the few farmers in this country who keeps pigs free.
That alone is a rarity because Germany packs millions of pigs into the tightest concrete stables.
Stables that would never do justice to the word. Because they are industrial plants.
Behind this is the highly industrialized pork industry, which has a big stone on the board with our politicians.
The outbreak of African swine fever caused exports to collapse.
An important pillar of an industry that has been producing and murdering more and more pigs for years, although pork consumption in Germany has been declining for decades.
In addition, there was congestion caused by Corona.
They could no longer murder the pigs “promptly” and “just in time”. Even more animal suffering and misery were and are the result.
But as long as one can make plenty of money elsewhere, as the Tönnies case shows, killing animals, this important pillar of our society must be maintained.
Pigs for China, the Philippines, and elsewhere. Cheers to our government’s agricultural policy
Farmer Staar’s 200 pigs are actually lucky.
They have at least one life that the 56 million other pigs in Germany would never have had.
Instead of 0.75m² of concrete, they can dig into the real ground and see the sun.
Enjoy the fresh air.
But now they are being murdered on the altar of the necessary pork export for no reason.
Because: Free-range farms are subject to approval in Germany and are subject to absurd regulations.
Which in the end should only ensure one thing: pigs belong in the barn. Basta!!
Anyone who dares to offer their pig’s real soil or fresh air will be declared paranoid.
And that’s why a double or triple fence is needed, hygiene sluices and other funny and sometimes ludicrous requirements.
Germany is Absurdistan.
If an epidemic then comes into the country, these (rare but healthy) pigs must also be locked up.
It doesn’t matter that transmission of the ASF virus is unlikely if all hygienic measures are observed on site.
The vague possibility that a bird of prey might accidentally drop a piece of contaminated wild boar is enough.
How high is this “chance”?
Like six in LOTTO, but it doesn’t matter.
As long as there is only a vague possibility, it must be prevented by all means.
That there is never 100% security in life?
The German is generally overly cautious, he feels permanently threatened and is afraid of everything and everyone.
Absolute safety is the top priority, even if it will never be achieved.
Many civil rights have been sacrificed on the altar of security. Corona is the current example!
Why should pigs who have no rights at all fare any differently?
So there is no compromise here either. No middle ground. But only acting “according to the letter” of the absurd ordinances and laws.
No stable available? Then your animals just die.
For the pork industry and Tönnies.
For China. For Agriculture Minister Klöckner, Chancellor Merkel, and the entire agricultural lobby government.
Because the Chancellery is in contact with Beijing so that money can be made with dead pigs there too.
“Animal welfare”, we hear politicians use this word again and again. They only have one good thing in mind: to secure their benefices and their electorate in industrial hunts like Tönnies and the agricultural sector.
It has never been interested in the welfare of animals. Not in this federal government and not in the previous decades.
In animal welfare, we Germans have been a total failure for ages.
Pig life? Isn’t worth anything in this country.
It’s time that changed”.

And I mean…The vice president of the German farmer association Werner Schwarz demands the shooting of 70 percent of all wild boars. “That would help preventively, and we would be able to get the situation under control quickly in the event of an outbreak”, he says.
Although the pathogen ASF only migrates through wild boars about 20 kilometers per year and is man-made
When it comes to pork, Germany is the European export champion and benefits from the increased demand from Asia.
The German Farmer Association estimates that the industry could lose two to three billion euros per year as a result of a trade ban.
That’s what this is about, about losses.
And where there is a threat of economic loss, all murder is sacred.
Politicians supported the wild boar genocide.
We didn’t expect anything else, they are the best helpers and friends of the meat mafia.
Everyone points their finger at the wild boar, a collective hysteria has broken out in the meantime, much more contagious and much more dangerous than ASF.
Because it is transmitted by psychopaths/hunters and animal abusers/farmers.
Shooting bonus: 50 euros per life!!
The German Hunting Association even recommends the use of helicopters or drones, “this is the only way we can exterminate wild boars”, say the hunters, who kill around 600,000 wild boars every year anyway.
All of this is legal.
Looks familiar! the brown times of national socialism send greetings!
My best regards to all, Venus
